New Delhi: Taiwan Excellence’s massive Mobile Showroom named TE Rig will cruise to different parts of India giving people the chance to lay their hands on some path-breaking technologies.

The TE Rig showcases iconic products covering gaming, ICT, home and living categories – each bearing the hallmark of Taiwan Excellence that stands for excellence in technology.
Taiwan Excellence is an initiative by Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) to assist Taiwan businesses and manufacturers in reinforcing their international competitiveness.
Through all these initiatives, Taiwan has already managed to reach several major Metros and cities of India. Now, to give a further boost to relations, Taiwan is aiming to reach to people in smaller cities and towns of India and showcase cutting-edge advanced technology and innovation.
The Rig comes as an extension of this endeavour to reach out to even tier II and tier III cities of India.
It will promote and showcase state-of-the-art products from some of the most renowned Taiwanese brands which are trusted names for cutting-edge technology products in ICT, gaming, home and living categories.
Leading brands like Acer, ADATA, AIFA, ASUS, AVerMedia, Avision, D-Link, FECA, Gigabyte, MSI, Thermaltake, Tokuyo, U.Cr+, Zowie and Zyxel will be showcasing their products on the Rig.
The flag-off event also saw an exclusive launch from MSI which introduced the latest weapon in its gaming laptop arsenal – the GE65 Raider portable gaming laptop. With up to 9th gen Intel Core i7 processor and GeForce RTX 2070 graphics, the GE65 can easily handle demanding AAA game titles with 240Hz IPS-level thin bezel display that ensures sharp and clear image in a compact form factor.
TE Rig comes ahead of Taiwan Excellence’s annual gaming event Taiwan Excellence Gaming Cup (TEGC).
Speaking of the innovative vehicle, Mr. Herben Wu, Director of Taipei World Trade Center Liaison Office in New Delhi, said, “In the past two years, we have reached 14 lakh people across India. People have shown such an overwhelming response that it encouraged us to bring out the much bigger third edition of the TE Rig. This year, there are many more tech products – each one of them bearing the hallmark of Taiwan Excellence.”
Echoing his thoughts, Ambassador Tien Chung-Kwang, Representative of Taipei Economic and Cultural Centre (TECC), “The relations between India and Taiwan have seen an upward growth in the past few years. Such initiatives like TEGC and TE Rig have contributed majorly in this. There are so many gaming aficionados and tech enthusiasts in India. Taiwan Excellence has brought to them some great technology and gaming products and they have responded in a terrific manner to all its ventures.”
