New Delhi: Gupshup, an indigenous conversational engagement platform, launched India’s first conversational buyer app on Wednesday via the government-run Open Network for Digital Commerce.
Buyers will be able to discover, explore, and purchase products from sellers across the ONDC network using a WhatsApp-based conversational UI, eliminating the need to download any additional smartphone applications.
“Gupshup’s Buyer App on ONDC connects consumers across the country to a vast commerce network that can be used quickly and conveniently in any language. “This will truly transform digital commerce on a population scale in India,” Beerud Sheth, CEO of Gupshup, said.
