DPIIT partners with HCLSoftware to herald India’s startup revolution

New Delhi:The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has inked a pact with HCLSoftware to revolutionize India’s startup manufacturing ecosystem. HCLSoftware, in collaboration with DPIIT, will support startups through design, development, sales, and marketing.

Under Startup India, DPIIT has signed over 80 Memorandums of Understanding with industry stakeholders to create a pivotal environment for corporate houses.

The HCL SYNC program offers global market exposure for startups, promoting Indian innovation and advancing the manufacturing sector, supporting the nation’s goal of becoming a national production hub.

The initiative aims to foster Indian intellectual property, enhance product quality, and establish a robust manufacturing ecosystem through the creation of unique products and solutions.

DPIIT Joint Secretary, Mr. Sanjiv Singh, emphasized the importance of partnering with HCLSoftware to create a sustainable manufacturing ecosystem. He emphasized the partnership’s alignment with DPIIT’s vision, aiming to boost innovation and strengthen Indian businesses globally, thereby achieving India’s ‘Make in India’ goal.

Startup India’s Director, Dr. Sumeet K. Jarangal, announced an initiative to boost India’s manufacturing sector by empowering startups with digital technologies and global market access.

HCLSoftware’s Chief Product Officer, Kalyan Kumar, emphasized the collaboration’s significance in India’s manufacturing journey, pledging to support startups, foster innovation, and contribute to India’s global manufacturing ambitions.
