New Delhi: Navratna PSU, REC Ltd has signed an Rs. 23.52 crore Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Shri Kedarnath Utthan Charitable Trust (SKUCT) for a number of infrastructural development projects around the holy city.
The projects include the construction of admin offices and hospitals below the Saraswati Plaza, near current GMVN building, laying water supply network, stormwater network, solid waste network, public address system, CCTV network system, 11KV HT cable, HT RMU, transformer between Saraswati edge and Temple Street.
Under the project, restoration and conservation-related civil works of Retas Kund, Udak Kund, Hans Kund and developmental works like providing lighting systems, plumbing works, PA system, CCTV, infrastructure services around Kund will also be undertaken.
The Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) in this regard was executed between the REC Foundation and SKUCT in New Delhi on July 6. REC Foundation CEO SN Srinivas, on behalf of REC Foundation and Uttarakhand Additional Resident Commissioner Ila Giri on behalf of SKUCT, signed the MoA in the presence of CMD and Director Technical S.K. Gupta, Director Finance, Ajoy Choudhary and other officials of REC Foundation.
