Gurugram: REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSE under the Ministry of Power, has pledged ₹2.01 crore under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to enhance healthcare facilities in Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
The financial assistance will fund the procurement of medical equipment for three Community Health Centres (CHCs) and the District Hospital in Raipur. The project will be implemented by the District Health Society (DHS), Raipur, to bolster healthcare accessibility and quality, especially for underserved populations.
An agreement for the initiative was signed on Thursday, by Dr. Mithilesh Choudhary, Chief Medical & Health Officer, Raipur, and Shri Pradeep Fellows, Executive Director CSR, REC Limited.
“This collaboration will ensure improved patient outcomes, faster diagnostics, and timely treatment for the vulnerable sections of society,” said a statement from REC Limited.
The initiative reflects REC’s commitment to social development through targeted interventions in critical sectors such as healthcare.
