New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet today appointed Dhiraj Singh, an Indian Information service cadre officer as the new Director of the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune for a period of five years.
Dhiraj is currently posted as Additional Director General (M&C) at the Press Information Bureau, National Media Centre Delhi. Ms Mattu J P Singh, ADG will take over the charge of PM Media Unit from Mr Dhiraj Singh.
Mr sandeep Shahare, Dean (Television) is currently holding the charge of Director FTII.
