Gurugram: Continuing its efforts to enhance the educational landscape through technology, Microsoft India is organizing the first Microsoft Education Days 2018 in Gurugram on December 4 and 5.
The two-day event will bring together students, over 220 educators and Microsoft Partners under one roof to showcase their work and deliberate on innovation in Education in India.
The event will facilitate exchange of ideas to revamp the educational landscape through technology.The discussions will be led by Microsoft executives Alexa Joyce, Director – Edu System Leaders Strategy – Global and Sean Tierney, Director – Teaching & Learning Strategy, Asia and Microsoft India experts and partners. The event will also include the announcement of the top 3 winners from the Minecraft NextGen Learning Challenge 2018 – 19.
The program will feature an interactive session for Microsoft Innovative Educators, which will include sessions on three major topics Preparing students for the future: through Minecraft and Coding; Building Modern Classrooms discussing the role of AI and Edge computing in classrooms and making education inclusive and accessible and localized for every student; and on Building Education Communities by leveraging tools such as Kaizala, Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Education solutions, and tinkering with innovation.
The event will also include an Education Transformation Framework (ETF) workshop designed for policy makers and education leaders within ministries of Education and Education departments to help education leadership and school principals transform education in their institutions. It will also feature an Educators’ exhibition on innovationby over 120 Teachers from different cities of India who will showcase innovative work executed in their schools focusing on AI, Gamification, Personalization, Localization and Collaboration
