New Delhi: IndianOil has announced the launch of STORM-X, a high-octane gasoline designed exclusively for racing vehicles. This historic event was virtually inaugurated by Mr. V. Satish Kumar, Director (Marketing), in the presence of Mr. N. Senthil Kumar, Director (Pipelines), and Mr. Alok Sharma, Director (R&D).
Indian Oil recently introduced premium racing fuel for high-end motor racing events across the country and on the worldwide circuit. Mr. Shrikant Madhav Vaidya, Chairman of IndianOil, conceptualized and inspired the development of premium racing fuels, which serve as a symbol of IndianOil’s unwavering commitment to innovation and quality.
This premium race gasoline was created by the IndianOil Research & Development Centre in Faridabad and manufactured at the cutting-edge Paradip Refinery.
It combines high-octane gasoline streams with sophisticated sustainable components, including 2G ethanol from Panipat Refinery. The fuel is certified by Bureau Veritas in Dubai and fulfills the FIA (Federation Internationale de l’Automobile) 2024 criteria.
IndianOil has collaborated with Madras Motor Sports Club to supply STORM-X for the Indian National Racing Championship’s third and fourth rounds at Madras International Circuit in 2024. At the launch ceremony, 55 barrels of STORM-X were dispatched for the third round.
