New Delhi: By extending the FUJIFILM India Model School Program, FUJIFILM India, a prominent player in the fields of healthcare, electronics, imaging, and business innovation, underlines its dedication to education and community development.

Building on the significant progress achieved in 2022–2023 as a result of its CSR initiatives, which revitalized three schools in MG Road, Gurugram, and Jajru, Faridabad, FUJIFILM India continues to pursue its goal of increasing educational possibilities for children from less fortunate backgrounds. This program adheres to the brand’s collective idea of “Giving Our World More Smiles.”

Fujifilm India launched a project to revitalize three government schools in Haryana, transforming Jajru Middle School and Sushant Lok Primary School into FUJIFILM India Model Schools.

FUJIFILM India aims to maintain academic gains by maintaining schools, providing necessary items, and easing obligations to create a supportive learning environment for both teachers and students.

Investing in education benefits not only individual students, but also the larger society. FUJIFILM India gives students the knowledge and abilities they need to thrive, which improves and prospers the community.

Mr. Koji Wada, Managing Director of FUJIFILM India, said, “As a responsible corporate citizen, FUJIFILM India has been doing its best to provide support to weaker sections of society,” in reflection on the progressive measures carried out by the company.

The TB Screening Campaign in Gujarat and FUJIFILM Model School program aim to reach the last person in society, supporting government schools and students. Today’s activity in Gurugram exemplifies their sustainability activities, he added.

Mr. Abhi Shekhar Singh, Vertical Head, Corporate Communications and CSR, noted that the CSR projects in Gurugram and Jajru, Faridabad, are a continuation of what we started last year. Our objective was to retain the schools we had refurbished in good condition while also providing the students with the most basic support possible. Keeping this in mind, we prepared school bags, shoes, and a stationery bundle for each child and handed them out at the start of their academic sessions. We assumed that presenting such products to children would motivate them for the new session and classes that they would begin, as well as help them understand the importance of education.”

FUJIFILM India’s efforts have led to increased student attendance and involvement, emphasizing the importance of ongoing education investment, revitalizing schools, and supporting students to reach their full potential.
